Thomas Jefferson's Monticello

Monticello was created and designed by Thomas Jefferson, and it served as his primary plantation. Today, this beautiful property and its grounds are open to the public for educational tours. Pets are allowed on the grounds of Monticello, if leashed. With the exception of certified service dogs, pets are not allowed in any buildings, including the House, or on the shuttle buses.
