Dogs love the off-leash area at Twin Lakes Recreation Area. From March - November, the off-leash dog area is between the former swimming lake and large fishing lake with fencing and lake boundaries. Park in shelter parking lot. For the freezing season from December to March, a winter dog park is set up to help safeguard dogs from falling through the lake ice. It is a fenced area surrounding the former swimming lake.
