Dogs are welcome at this dog friendly beach as long as they are on a leash. This beach area was devastated by Hurricane Katrina and has undergone various stages of reconstruction. It is a beautiful beach with much history. Enjoy Buccaneer beach's natural setting of large moss-draped oaks, marshlands and the Gulf of Mexico. Use of this land was first recorded in history in the late 1700's.
