Kitty Hawk Beach

Kitty Hawk Beach is a dog friendly beach!

From the Friday before Memorial Day until the day after Labor Day between the hours of 10 AM - 6:00 PM, dogs must be on a leash not exceeding 6 feet. 

At all other days and times during the year, dogs can be on the beach on a leash that is a maximum of 12 feet (and may be retractable).  Dogs may be taken off-leash only if they will not disturb other people on the beach. Unleashed dogs must be controlled by the handler, who must remain within 30 feet of their dog at all times.

A leash must be with owner at all times.  Please be sure to clean up after your dog.
