Virginia Beach Public Beaches

From Memorial Day to Labor Day pets are limited to the north end of the beach above 42nd Street and the south end in the Sandbridge area before 10am and after 6pm. However, during the rest of the year dogs are allowed full access to the beach as long as they are on leash. Run, walk, or jog along the surf with your dog at this dog friendly beach.
