Positives:
I liked that the building was over 100 years old and didnt smell old and musty. I love that some of the hotels original features are still there, doors with brass knobs, the stair case etc. I stayed on the 5th floor and it was like stepping back in time when you got off the elevator, kinda cool. The staff were friendly , my room was clean and the view from my window of the sleeping giant was awesome. P.S, love that you can watch the trains roll through, honestly.
Negatives:
My room was a little too warm but livable . There was a jacuzzi tub in my room and holy hell that thing was loud. Aaaaand if I gotta be picky , I didnt like that whom ever did the painting ( recently ) was careless with his brush and obviously made zero attempt to clean it up. But thats being picky.

The fire alarm was malfunctioning. It sounded for about 10minutes at 2am, 4am, 6am, and 10am our first night. The free Wifi would disconnect every 2 minutes. Was in 5th floor corner.

Property itself was ok. It was nice looking at the waterfront. Older building but nice. The fellow at the front desk was in training but was very nice and helpful.
Negatives:
One of the elevators out of commission. Was on the second floor so difficult taking the stairs with luggage etc. Also questionable characters outside in the parking loitering around. Did not feel safe. About 3 in the morning both my wife and l woke up to very strong cannabis smell, it was so nasty could not sleep. Even though we had reservations for 2 nights we left very early in the a.m. and completely left the area.
