Studio 6-Jacksonville FL - Baymeadows

Negatives: The room was filthy. Looked like the floor had not been swept or mopped. Bedding had holes in it. Not more than 15 minutes of us being there. We noticed the infestation of roaches. We only booked this place for one night. We originally stayed in an air bnb, but since we were enjoying our stay in Jacksonville we decided to find us somewhere to go that was reasonable for one more night. We payed $100 to be ran out of our room by roaches. This place is disgusting. I’ve stayed in low cost hotels before and I have never experienced anything like this.

Negatives: Smelled like an ashtray and was filthy.

Negatives: The hotel needs to be remolded and pressure washed the hotel is very old looking and smelling. I smelled like the rooms once I was out had to was everything. The smoked in room smell.

Negatives: The first room had open exhaust fan with no cover, didn't work. Toilet was dirty with poop stains. Door to room did not close properly. Smelled like smoke, and this was a NO SMOKING ROOM. Phone in the room had no dial tone to call front desk. Had to drive back to office. No remote for TV, then was given one that had no cover, so batteries kept falling out. Every surface was sticky. I used about 10 baby wipes to clean all surfaces. Our side mirror on our new KIA SPORTAGE was stolen. We told front desk, they said their video camera didn't pick it up. We were in a handicapped ♿️ parking place, as we are both handicapped. We called the police. 2 Sheriff cars came to the front of the motel to meet with us, and made a report. The officers said THIS Motel was the largest illegal drug place in the area! We heard dogs bark ALL NIGHT. People sleeping in vehicles in the parking lot. Blanket on our bed was made to be the cover for our bodies with the sheet on the top like a spread. I went to remake the bed properly, and the cover had what looked like poop smeared all over it. I used the room phone to call the front desk. They said they were closed at 9pm. ( I called at 8:55pm when I found out when getting ready for bed. She would not bring another one to us, and I had just gotten out of the shower and was in a night gown. So, we got dressed and had to go to the front desk. We ended up going down and banged on the locked door to get another blanket, which was fine. We obviously were in a section where people were living there weekly or longer as kids yelled outside all the time until after midnight and went in and out doors to each side of our room. Our feet were filthy from the floors. I used one of their dish towels to wash the floors. It turned black. The swimming pool was green and dirty and there was no breakfast of any kind.

Negatives: Front desk clerk, Booked a room was told it canceled. Only to find out reservation was still active and they just didn't have room I reserved.

Negatives: I didn't like that the people hangingout around the hotel

Negatives: Cockroach infestation, drugs dealing, black mold growing on the bathroom ceiling and walls.

Negatives: Staff most were very rude, people on top were very noisy day and night asked staff to say something they told me call JSO
