Upon arrival. My room was not clean. It looked like someone had slept on our bed ( hair residue on pillows and sheets. The toilet too was not clean. Staff was hesitant to change sheets but did.

Upon arrival we had to look around the property for the person working the front desk, whom we ended up finding sitting outback of the hotel in a shipping container. Our room wasn’t “ready” at check in, and also wasn’t ready till an hour after check in time. just for us to check into a room that was no where near clean. there were zero complimentary soaps, only to find one floating in the toilet as we used the toilet for the first time. were given only one wash cloth and it had yellow marking on it. came back later that night after our event to find dirty sheets on the bed also. only booked this hotel for one night because of an event we were attending and it was way overpriced for the horrible quality. the “complimentary breakfast” is also a huge joke.

Staff wasn't friendly. Breakfast was limited and they said when they were out. They were out. Also they took our towels and didn't replace them. We had to empty our own garbage also.

Our door broke, maintenance did fix it. Gave us an extra hour to check out but after 12:00pm two staff members stood at our door from then until 12:14pm and knocked 3 times within that time period. After that they got very verbally aggressive with us stating we have to leave because they already gave us an extra hour but the hotel was literally empty. So we just left. Also they have drinks to purchase but the refrigerator they have for drinks to purchase was 3/4 empty and no water was available you had to go to the gas station for that.

Quick and easy check in process. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very close to my event at the Wyndham and food options. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
Elevator was out of service and the first room I was put in had a broken heater. The fire alarm was also hanging from the ceiling covered with a plastic bag. When I called the desk, I was given a new room with no issues, so the staff was very cooperative and helpful. But it seems this hotel is in need of some updates. Otherwise, it was great.

While sleeping I got bit multiple places by an insect. I reported this to the front desk I still have the insect bite on my fore head and neck … when I first got to the hotel the Elevator didn’t work so since we have bad knees we had to get a double bed instead of Queen or king bed due to the All Star Weekend I knew it would be all sold out in the area so I stayed … how ever the room was nasty and had stains in the carpet and in the hallway there was a leak. They had multiple trash cans filled with water just tacky

Everything. We had Awful experience had to leave early. Front desk guy was disrespectful. We are there for a vacation trip. We had issues from the first day but because we are super tired we left the concern the next day. When we got back from a long trip we talked to the front desk if they can change our bed covers because it has stains and it feels dirty. The guy asked us to show it to him and he said its from the bleach??? So he said for me to remove the cover. Seriously?? Asking me to remove the cover to give to him and he just gave us a new cover of us to also put it ourselves? So we decided to leave the place we should left early!!! I love la quinta we never had issues this is the first time it happened to us. Had to find a different hotel and it was super clean. I am very disappointed with la quinta!!!!
