Negatives: The bartender has no personality and comes off very rude. She needs to realize she's in customer service.

Negatives: The bathroom shower and bathroom door didn’t work

Negatives: The maintenance staff being rude to guest.

Negatives: we ended up leaving a day early because the shower water was off when we arrived, then when it came back on, the pressure was terrible. the pool pumps turned off when we got in, and there was so much dirt and visible hair clumps that we got out after 5 min. the pool was also so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom. the night manager and manger the second morning had very rude and dismissive attitudes. the tv remote in the room had a slimy sticky substance on the back of it after the room had been "cleaned". Also the grout and tiles in the pool room looked like they hadn't been clened in over a week. Just overall disappointing service and stay.

Negatives: Unfortunately, there were dogs barking throughout the night that made it so difficult to sleep that I had to blast a sound machine app to attempt to fall back asleep. While it isn’t the hotel’s fault the dog was barking, it is super frustrating to be woken up because the noise travels so easily! I hadn’t even realized it was pet friendly but I’ll make sure to check for future stays now after that.

Negatives: Gps took me to Element next door instead. When that was straightened out by Elements front desk( btw, you should stay here instead) I was escorted over to ALoFt. The front desk would have been better if it was an iPad. No personality, not helpful. Asked if they had a shuttle to the airport, and was told yes. I had to return my rental car the evening I arrived since I was leaving at 3am. Asked of they had a shuttle to rental car return. Yes, just call us when you need a ride. When I dropped it off and tried to call them, the automatic answering sent me to bell for 45 minutes. It rang, said push 1 for this , push 2 for that...etc, so I pushed 5...then it put me back in que, answered again, gave me the 5 options again, so I pushed 5 AGAIN, put me back in que, answered again pushed 5 again, back in que This went on over and over while I tried all the options. Pushed1, pushed 2 the next time, pushed 3,4,5... Then pushed 0, 00,000.... To no avail. No one is alive in this place to answer anyone. The automated answering made me so pissed I will NEVER stay at an ALOFT again and I am a Gold Marriott member. Finally, I remember the nice Element front desk. I looked up their number, pushed 5... And they answered on the first ring. I explained what happened and they sent a driver over immediately. I was about to UBER back and pack my stuff up and leave I was so angry. Then when I was dropped off and need change from a 20$bill so I could tip that nice shuttle driver Michelle, they had no change at the front desk for a $20, or $10, or any...neither did their bar. So I went to bed and said a little prayer for Michelle since I couldn't even give her a couple of dollars. If you own a hotel, have change at the front desk. Have some change at your bar. Answer the phone. SMILE when you check people in and engage them. Worst hotel experience in decades and I stay 100+ nights a year in them and have for 30+ years. One more ... Nowhere to place your CPAP machine.
