The staff was friendly. It is in a good location in Lansing. Beds were comfy.

Very dirty. It looks like they are trying to renovate, but it clearly had a problem with water leakage. Walking to breakfast we went under a huge black mold spot and lots of visible trash cans collecting water. The pool is supposed to be heated and freezing cold. That was the whole purpose of our trip was to let our kids go swimming, so that was not enjoyable. The water is also extremely cloudy and has some slimy spots against the walls and bottom. The hot tub wasn’t working. Really bad smell throughout and even in our room. The wall paper is peeling in the rooms and hallways. There was trash on the bathroom floor when we checked in, and tucked into a chair in the room. The complimentary tea packets had been wet and soaked through so I couldn’t use them.

Hallways and overall feel and smell were unpleasant. Pool was freezing with many ceiling panels missing in March in Michigan. The hot tub did not work and the sauna did not get very hot. Breakfast was uncomfortable with how much control staff had and the rigidity of what we could not do- bring food back to our room, eat without being stared at, etc. The breakfast food was also not very tasty or seemingly fresh.

The staff was unwilling to accommodate us even after showing them I had paid online!! They were unwilling to accommodate even after talking with a booking.com representative, finally after being there for over a hour and a half we still had to leave and I've not got my money back yet!!!!
