When Booking.com has the option to pay more for to have "Breakfast Included," I did not expect to have to argue and prove this to the hotel so that the breakfast charges could be removed. There was only a restaurant for breakfast available and every item was charged out separately ($3 for a cup of coffee, etc.) The food was good, but the experience of paying extra to have breakfast included and still having to argue with the staff to have the charges removed was a terrible experience. From now on, I know to NEVER choose the option to pay more for "breakfast included" when there is the option. I also didn't like that you had to walk a few buildings over to get to the indoor pool. And I didn't like that there was no coffee station in the lobby to grab a cup with creamer. The only option was to sit at the restaurant, wait for a long time to get service, and pay $3 for a cup of coffee.

Warm indoor pool is a big plus after a cold day in the snow
When we arrived there were empty beer cans laying around in the parking lot(tailgate party) the following day it was all cleaned up by the cleaners.
Negatives:
The room could be cleaner, there was still a lot of hair laying around, empty beer bottles stinking behind the night stand.

I loved the location, te staff the decoration. Rooms are fancy. I loved that there’s floor and not carpet.
Negatives:
I did not like that the basic stuff like toilet paper… Kleenex shampoo coffee… are not enough for the days we stayed. They don’t do the rooms everyday, but they should have enough of everything (for the days of our stay) I know I could call, but our phone wasn’t working and is not nice to go out the snow every time you need extra towels… so I recommend put everything the guest will need for their stays, or do the rooms daily.

The lobby was very nice and well-decorated. The location was not too far from downtown Taos. Parking was free. Bathrooms were updated and nice.
Negatives:
The hotel was not up to Hilton standards and left much to be desired. The bar did not stay open for its posted hours and closed nearly 3 hours earlier than scheduled every night we stayed at the hotel. When our group tried to hang out in the common area, we were told by staff that the lobby would be closing and that we could not hang out (it was 8:30pm). Additionally, the rooms are located separately from the lobby and amenities, making it feel more like a motel. There were no elevators available to accommodate ADA regulations. The phone also rang several times during the night, and the front desk told us to unplug it. There was no housekeeping provided during the stay
