The room was by far the best part of the hotel. With the view and yard area it was perfect scene.
Negatives:
The staff, I booked about a month early for two nights. Due to my job as a Deputy Sheriff, I have several schedule conflicts come up late. Your website made it very easy to make the change of my stay, until I called to make an early check in.
The front desk could not find my reservation and didn't want my reservation number. They hung up on my significant other twice. Upon the second call back the front desk told me that I was supposed to check in a day prior and I was being charged for a no show. After arriving the front desk again couldn't find the reservation. I offered to show them I booked the schedule changes weeks ago but again they didn't want to see.
I was informed that I was being charged the the missed night then be given a free night to make up the difference.
I was later called during a birthday dinner in Bend, saying they needed me to come to the office because they forgot my card information and paperwork.
In the end, booking and the room was great but the front desk made a lasting memory....

Excellent breakfast, so much better than most hotels. The deer outside just added to the experience. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Loved the rescue llamas as well.The staff was friendly and helpful.
