Positives: There were no bugs. The check in clerk was nice. The furniture was newish. Since there are no great options for breakfast, Denny's is in the same parking lot.
Negatives: I normally do not leave reviews or complain, but dishonesty and theft are things I just can't ignore. I have waited 3 days for this to be corrected, and it has not Let me start from the beginning. At check in the kind clerk told me there is a $25 deposit. It is not in the booking.com listing. I check for those because I feel a couple of different ways about it. 1. Deposits are because you have criminal types of people staying there. 2. You do not trust anyone, I do not want to give you my money. This clerk is probably not the one that came up with this idea, so I did not give him a hard time about it. I paid it without protest. I checked booking.com again, it's not there. I get in the room and it has a weird smell. Sort of like a sweaty kid with a melted lollipop. Sticky, sweet, sweat. The furniture in the room looks fairly new and more modern. It all has greasy handprints on everything. Nothing has been wiped down. I go to get cleaning supplies. The bathtub and toilet have gray paint all over them, it's like someone dumped a gallon of paint in both and left it. The walls are painted poorly, and it really brings down what could have been a nice renovation. When I flush the toilet, about 2 gallons of water ( I hope that is what it was) leaks all over the floor. I clean that up. After a bit, I take off my shoes and just walk in the main area less than 5 minutes, my socks are black. This floor has not been mopped probably ever. When going to bed, the mattress is a thin foam over some cheap inner spring with no support. The big handles on the sides of the bed are intended to hold a tall mattress. This is not what is happening, and the placement of them is right where you would try to get up from the bed. It becomes a hurdle. In the morning I shower. The water is just over room temperature. No hot water here. The mirror at the vanity is fantastic. It has great light and was clean.

Positives: It was easily accessible.
Negatives: It is obviously still under renovations, having previously been a La Quinta, room was dark, one of the bedside lights didn’t work, had to ask for ice bucket and where we might find ice on site, these are obviously not in demand, the one brought to us by the front desk clerk was covered in dust. There was no television guide. We had someone park outside our door and 2 mornings we were awakened by the loud engine noise. The thresholds need to be addressed as you can see daylight under the closed doors. I would say that the entire room needs to be checked top to bottom, bathroom needs to be cleaned and recaulked, ground floor rooms usually dedicated for the elderly need to have grab bars installed in the shower/bath area! I understand that it has been operated as a Wyndham property about 1 1/2 years, so I’m thinking the owners need to take a hard look at the renovations and make sure they meet with Wyndham standards! Waffles for breakfast were great, would have liked to see something besides boiled eggs for a protein! Also the dining area can only seat 10 people.

Negatives: Gave off very weird vibes. Was uncomfortable just walking in, although the desk clerk was very sweet and welcoming we just couldn’t get passed the weird feeling. There was also burn marks all over the bathtub which tells us drug users were there, the rooms were very plain and not inviting.
