My room had 3 maintenance issues that were easy to fix: open a vent, replace a light bulb, hang up a curtain properly. Management noted the issues but didn't bother fixing, made the place seem run down and shabby.

I left my blue shirt with white stripes on Fri Oct 20th in room 307 called the front desk to see if they found it. They confirmed that it was there but couldn't understand how to get my shirt back since I live 4 hours away.

My stay at this La Quinta wasn't as bad as past stays in other La Quintas. Checkin went smoothly, and the counter clerk, I assume, was the Manager, he got me all squared away without any issue. The room was huge and had a lot of dead space in the center. It had a small refrigerator and a pretty comfortable king-sized bed.
Negatives:
There was a safe, but no instructions on how to set it. I asked the overnight clerk in the morning for the instructions, and he gave me a copy of some they had in the office, which should be in the rooms. But after all of that effort, the safe gave errors and would not lock properly. For the cost and the size of the room, maybe they should have had a couch also as opposed to a single seat chair and foot stool. There is a breakfast bar of sorts. The sausages were severally undercooked, as were the watery scrambled eggs. The toast and the banana were probably the best parts of breakfast. For what is offered, it is extremely overpriced for an event weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. The only benefit is how close it was to the track
