Good location off of I-95. Front desk clerk was very nice. The room was good size. The bed was ok but not as comfortable as it could have been. I have stayed at numerous Quality Inns over the years and this ranks towards the bottom of the list on quality. If I was going to stop in Emporia again, i don't believe I would stay here.
Negatives:
The bathroom needs some repairs. Also not very clean looking. Could hear the noise from outside cars on the street and people talking outside room. The AC/ heater was very noisy every time it came on during the night.

Location was good.
Negatives:
Floor and bedding was clean but the baseboards needed cleaning and/or painting. There was some type of stain on the walls in and around the bathroom which looked disgusting at first. Whatever the stain was we could not clean off.
Lastly it appears that there may have been a chair, small table, or other small piece of furniture missing in the room, one side of the bed. There was just a large empty area on that side of the bed.
Outside the stairs to the 2nd level, between the two buildings, has some serious structural cracking on the staircase that looks like it could collapse at any time.
