The location was excellent, it was quiet and in a rural location. The room itself was laid out beautifully and I loved the deco and the size.
Negatives:
When I reserved the room I accidently reserved a non smoking room. I called immediately and ask to swap for a smoking room. The attendant said once I arrived we could switch rooms. Upon arrival I was told that they were not allowed to switch and if I smoked in the room I would be charges. They stated that the room would be checked before I checked out. I didn't have a choice but wasn't happy about it. Once in the room I found that the bathroom had not been cleaned, as old soap was stuck to the tub. I cleaned it and prepared to shower, only to find there was no hot water. It took a little while and I found that the heat wasn't working . So I paid for a room without the privileges I wanted and needed, had no heat, and no hot water, with a staff who said they could do nothing about it.. Although I loved the style and deco I would not choose this establishment in the future.
