I need a bathtub and both rooms I was shown had only a shower. Also I asked when booking and when checking in to be facing away from Costco which I know is noisy open the morning with backup horns. This was ignored even after I asked for another room.

Comfortable room but won’t stay...
Positives:
I liked the cleanliness and the friendliness of the cleaner. The front desk staff were a racist and treated me with disdain, as if I wasn’t supposed to be there. They initially placed my second room on floor one and first room on floor 4. I had to plead with them and let them know my children were minors before they moved us.
Negatives:
The attitude of the front desk staff. Each time I came back to my room, the keys wouldn’t work and they would insists on following me to the room to prove my identity even though they had seen me at least 3-4 times asking about the same key not working. Also, for some reason they wouldn’t properly process my credit card leading to an embarrassing situation. I called the mc company and they said the transaction was not visible!!!

Positives:
Amenities, location, staff - the hotel is centrally located to everything we needed, 20 mins to downtown Victoria, under 10 mins to mountain biking trails, the sports arena, shopping and restaurants. The rooms size was above average (even accommodated a mountain bike in it) and quiet. The amenities included a full gym, pool, hot tub and dry and steam saunas. The free hot and cold buffet breakfast was fantastic as was the restaurant. We were travelling with a hockey team and the Food and beverage manager set up a great team dinner for us. Fantastic stay and will stay again!
