It was my first time staying at a hotel so close to an airport that I could watch flights depart and arrive. I enjoyed the view, the possibility to rest, and the convenience afforded to those so close to the airport. The staff who welcomed me to the hotel and the restaurant were awesome.
Negatives:
My room was next to the elevator and it seemed to be a busy night, so it was difficult to get the rest I required for my early departure time. The blind which covered the only window needed to be wider. The thin line between the blind and the wall allowed enough light from the airport to shine into the room, which it made it more difficult to sleep. One must ensure that one is equipped with a sleep mask and earplugs for the room in which I stayed.

YOUR INTERNET SYSTEM TOOK OVER MY LAPTOP SO THAT WHEN I WAS AT THE AIRPORT NEXT MORNING I COULDN'T USE THE HALIFAX AIRPORT INTERNET. THIS EXTENDED TO WHEN WE WENT TO A HOTEL IN LONDON ENGLAND. AGAIN I COULDN'T USE THE LOCAL INTERNET SYSTEM. - THE ALT HOTEL INTERNET KEPT INTERVENING. THIS REALLY GOT ME UPSET. THE HOTEL WAS OK BUT WHAT HAPPENED WITH REGARD TO YOUR INTERNET SYSTEM PUT ME OFF THE ALT HOTEL.

Positives:
Great location, easy check in and check out. Good sized room, quiet and the curtains shut out the light well. Great for a late arrival or early departure.
Negatives:
Bathroom light kept flickering off and the toilet flush stuck open a couple of times, wasting loads of water. Restaurant is okay, not brilliant and there was plastic wrap in my dinner. The waiter was excellent and they didn't charge me so was resolved but would prefer no plastic!
