It really is a nice hotel, but the issues with the owner, make it impossible for me to return. Total disregard for the customer.
Negatives:
There was a problem with the price of the booking. I knew this when I booked. But the only resolution the hotel offered was take it or leave it. I offered what I thought was a generous offer, and was told that I either had to pay for my bookings and try to collect the money prepaid to booking. Com, or else I could sleep on the street. Since when does a store or anyone else make you an offer and then just say or sorry. If I had to cancel my non refundable booking because I could no longer travel, would I get my money back? No way, yet, the owner of this establishment felt she had the right to just forget that I had a non refundable booking. And when I asked to speak with her. She was right there in the same room, and left without engaging in a conversation with me. This Is a nice hotel but I will take my business somewhere else.

We booked our room well in advance of our trip because it is difficult to find a hotel where a dog is welcome. What I didn’t like was that we booked and indicated we had a dog travelling with us. We made the reservation and a price was in the confirmation. When we checked in, we had to pay an additional $30 + tax.
