Cambria Hotel Phoenix- North Scottsdale

Negatives: Bathroom floor could have been cleaner.

Negatives: The location was terrible. Trying to get to the hotel during rush hour on a Friday was the worst! Due to being next to the Desert Ridge center. There was huge hair clog in the shower and hair all over the floor, it was not mine.

Negatives: For the price, breakfast should be included .

Negatives: The king sized mattress is way too soft and positioned poorly to see tv. room is average size . Not the quietest rooms, can hear people walking and talking above

Negatives: Breakfast could have been betterno fruit, eggs or bacon.

Negatives: Jacuzzi wasn't working

Negatives: The room was non-functional and uncomfortable. The bed faced the window, but the TV was hanging on the wall to the left, forcing you to crane your neck 90 degrees, like an owl, to watch. The bedside tables had no lights, making reading without your own lighted device nearly impossible. The couch was more like a single bed with a bolster and was not especially comfortable for sitting. The room lacked a comfortable chair. There wasnt even a fold-open suitcase rack for keeping your gear off the floor, like youd find in any hotel. The ironing board and hanging iron took half of the small closet. The few small open drawers were inadequate for placing much clothing. The refrigerator was very small with a tiny unusable freezer. Several light switches were weird and so small they were hard to find. This was our first experience with a Bluetooth bathroom mirror. It had the Bluetooth icon and a Bluetooth address which we hoped would let us brighten the dim thing, but all the addresses that appeared on our phones seemed to be for other rooms, and we could not connect. The room layout is quite unusual and not what you would expect. Its certainly not cozy. Several of the thin plastic laminate floor strips were bulging off the floor. Everything is plastic with no natural materials that would help make one feel more at home. We found out the hard way that there is no room service between days and not even more coffee for future mornings. Asking the front desk for a second light desk chair so that both of us could comfortably work on our laptops was futile.

Negatives: Availability of suites. The hotel had a consistent stench of sewer the entire time. Is there something going on? This matter needs immediate attention.

Negatives: Our room had a faint off and on musty smell. We only complained when we checked out because it wasnt worth moving.
