The beautiful views from the restaurant was so peaceful. The walking around the lake was so fun. I love coming here for day use and also for a little self care getaway. Its truly a hidden gem. I will return again soon

This is an old rundown hotel. It's a one star at best.

There was a lighter and cigarette butts on the patio of our room. It was a non smoking room.

Be sure to get a view out the back towards the lake, McDowell Mountains as it's beautiful in the morning to sit on the patio and enjoy the scenery. We enjoyed the jazz band on Wednesday night in the bar. Good location between Old Town and Kierland areas.

Hotel is old and they're doing their best on refurbishing it. Be sure to confirm with front desk when checking in that you get the room you reserved. I reserved a King bed but got 2 queens instead as I forgot to confirm so hubby and I slept separately.

TINY BEDS!!!! Double. I knew this when I made the reservation, but a hotel of this caliber should have queen size beds. NO MICROWAVE. I was surprised by this. Parking lot was somewhat rough gravel and completely unlit. Closet doors had no handles.

Extra cost for resort fee. This is a old resort and the extra fee added on to room is a waste. Room even though looked cleaned, needed a deep clean for all the dirt that needed to be cleaned off from bathroom vanity and air/heat unit. the
