The property is beautiful and small very intimate, with lovely landscaping and views.
Negatives:
The room you get makes a big difference.
I booked through booking and it said two bed hacienda queen room
It ended up being in the portion of hotel that was originally dorm rooms when it was a school.
We had a room in that area, which is not nice. Old not renovated no view, and a very old bathroom where the toilet barely flushed.
Additionally our room wasnt ready when we went to check in at 6:00 PM
Waited an hour.
The front desk person had to look for the reservation in a separate area that she said they normally dont check.
Breakfast buffet was 50.00 PP and not worth it.
Staff was nice, and this hotel is really beautiful if you want a small boutique type feeling.
Ask for the Catalina rooms

Positives:
The landscaping was the best part of the facility. It reminded me of my families Hacienda when I was a child. Specially the libary was a bonus to drink your morning coffee and do research on what activities I wanted to do during the day. The views of the mountain range are inspiration for a piece of art. Will like to stay here again. The price during the weekend was a little pricy for me but it was worth it.
Negatives:
When you travel laundry service is always a bonus. I did not find the restaurant for breakfast but did not look very hard. Complementary coffee was a great.
