We had an elderly man. We were given a second floor. Had to go steps. No elevator. He had to stop a few times to make it up. Shortness of breath.

The room was very big. Also very clean and nice quiet location
Negatives:
Satellite and room phone didn't work. When I called the front desk, the lady seemed like there was nothing they could do or double charge me for another room. Eventually we got it to work. The lady at the front desk seemed exasperated the whole time we were there. I get being stressed but letting the customers see it is another thing. To be fair though I think they were severely understaffed, which is in no way her fault.
Day 2 at the pool they had floomats instead of towels due to cleaning staff not doing laundry... really?
Honestly, I would've given this hotel a perfect score if the customer service hadn't been lacking. However, they all seemed nice, just stretched thin. Perhaps bad management?
All in all, I had a good experience and will be coming back. Hope next time is better
