Can't beat the ambience. The roaring waterfall made for an extremely pleasant environment. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The WIFI was fast. The breakfast was good and the coffee was great. The bar is nice with lots of comfortable seating and a great bartender. The restaurant staff was efficient and friendly. The location is central to everything. Loved the parking garage, especially with the threat of hail while we were staying there. My kids loved this place, except for the frigid pool temperature ...
Negatives:
The staff at the front desk lacked competency. When I arrived, there was a glass of whiskey on the counter and they were chatting it up with some dude. It wasn't a great first impression. I'd asked for two adjoining rooms and the hotel notified me that they could do that for me when I made the reservation. I called five hours in advance to verify my arrival time and that we had the two adjoining rooms and they confirmed it. When I arrived, they told me they had just put someone in their last adjoining room. (If it was for one night, I wouldn't have cared, but it was for multiple nights and we have kids.) The odd thing was, when we got to our rooms, one of them was adjoining, so apparently they had put someone in the room it adjoined with. Go figure.
I'm Ambassador Elite with Marriott, but this was my first Wyndham stay, so I requested to get reward points. The front desk ladies signed me up but apparently spelled my email address wrong, so it took me 60 minutes on the phone with Wyndham today to fix that. They also got my phone number wrong ... so I had to fix that, but it explains why I never got a receipt sent to me.
My kids were disappointed that the pool was a few degrees cooler than an arctic plunge. I don't know why it's not heated, but it should be. It was VERY cold.

Gail and Amy, it went over and beyond to fix a situation with a rowdy and racist guest who hurled racial slurs across the hotel restaurant.
Negatives:
The hotel failed to remove a guest who hurled racial slurs across the hotel restaurant. This guest was a racist and should have been removed from the property once management was notified. Management was aware of the incident they did nothing to remove this guest from the property ,which made the rest of our stay very uncomfortable .We will never stay at this hotel again this hotel lost our business we usually stay at this hotel once a year.
The breakfast was also very slow they had one person doing the cooking ,and waiting the tables and cleaning the tables .
To staff at this hotel really needs a change.
The housekeepers that clean the rooms were not very good in the rooms were dirty.
