I get a chance to stay because they were close.

I didn't even get to stay. My reservation was cancelled at the last second due to the hotel being closed (for renovation or something). Thankfully I was able to book another hotel, nor was I charged...so it was a minor inconvenience. I had stayed at this place before, and it was fine, so I am willing to give it another shot in the future.

the entire hotel was closed upon arrival.... we did not stay.... no proactive outreach regarding cancellation of our reservation.... person on the phone was rude.... person in lobby turned their back....literally.... on us when asking questions.... and refused to engage
