The location was great and a great price

The sign says $20 pet fee inside on the desk, booking.com website shows $25 pet fee in the questions section. So, I go in with $25 cash to pay the pet fee just in case, and went to hand him the $20 bill when I read that the sign said $20. He said he needed the $5 also, and handed me back $2 in change, making it $23 for a pet fee. I look down at my phone and he charged my card $23 for the pet fee to my bank account also. Once I went back to the office, he said he is refunding my card, but he was trying to get double and didn’t think he’d get caught.
He also didn’t want to give me a receipt until I went back in and asked for it when I realized the extra charge. On my receipt it shows the charge of the room, then the $23 pet fee paid in cash. So where did the $23 on my card end up? What else did that pay for?
I had a uhaul, and he told me there was no room for it, so I’d have to park on the far right side of the parking lot, which was fine. I parked and went into the room, and noticed that my door wasn’t locking. I opened to see if I could figure it out, and noticed tape that only allowed the lock to go so far. Without touching the tape, I went outside to see if I could shut the door completely and push it open, and of course I COULD.
The door lock plate was also cut off of the door frame, so there was no stability for the latch really. I had to sleep with the dresser in front of the door. Also, I moved my car closer, because there was TONS of parking. Originally my car was 129 steps away from my hotel door… so if someone was to push open the door that was purposely taped, how could I get to my car easily if someone was to do something? I felt like this was done on purpose, since I am a female!

There was no breakfast. I literally chose this hotel because they said there would be a continental breakfast. This place scams people into booking saying they have a breakfast. When I confronted them the owner got very rude. He said that having coffee alone constitutes a breakfast. This is not a hotel I believe booking.com should work with.
