The toilet wobbled and didnt seem to be plumbed properly. The air conditioning didnt work and was very noisy. We had to ask for our rooms to be serviced. The price per night was excessive and dont feel it is very good value for money

The location was excellent for an alumni event that I was attending at the law school. Walking distance to the school and to Telegraph Avenue.

Room was small. But its and older building. So I knew what I was getting into.

The smallest sink in the world in our bathroom. Also don't like it when hotels start charging for parking.

The weekend was great, Cal won it's football game!

The staff was very pleasant and tried hard.

The size of the rooms was unacceptable to us. The first night someone in the room above us walked around from midnight to 2:00 am causing us to request a room change. The desk clerk moved us to a second floor room which had a defective air conditioner which emitted a loud noise. The next morning, we asked for maintenance to check the unit after 11:00. At 8:00, while my wife was sleeping, a guy entered the room and literally scared my wife. He apologized and then left. It was mid afternoon when someone came to check the air conditioner. This guy spoke no English, so I had to google the word for loud. Wen I told him the problem, he stated un momento, left and never came back. In addition, on our first night, we ate at Henrys. With a limited menu, they were out of fish and chips and chicken pot pie. I ordered a burger, and my wife went next door and brought back a pizza. Our waiter, John, was very nice and let us eat in the lobby area. Also, the wine pour was atrociously small and over priced in a small wine glass.
