Negatives:
The rooms were dirty. Front desk check-in Person was disengaged. Left after our check-in and nowhere to be found to tell them one of our rooms Appeared to have not been cleaned (Sunflower seed shells on the floor & Doritos on the chairs & floor. There was a phone number to call for assistance as there was no staff on site. Called repeatedly no one picked up. The other option was to walk to the Fog catcher a few motels down. Person at the front desk at Fog Catcher was incredibly rude and not helpful. Told us they couldn’t change the room because they were but motel was practically empty. Wrecked the vibe of a badly needed vacation.

When we arrived at the hotel to do the check-in, at a time we could still do the check-in, the door was closed and no one there.
We had to go to a nearby hotel to do the check-in, which was dificult to find without having Internet conection.
We were very upset, since we arrived at a time the reception was still suposed to be open.

The beds were really comfortable. I loved that it was right on the beach. The rooms were large and spacious. I love the bon fires in the front it was a perfect place to watch the sunset. Staff was exceptional.
Negatives:
The only thing I would change is the rooms need to be slightly updated. There were things like chipped paint, spots on the wall, and rust on bathroom lights

We recently stayed at Cambria Landing & couldnt wait to return. We booked it again. It turned out that they overbooked but they immediately gave us an alternative at a sister hotel (Pelican Inn & Sweets-right down the street on Moonstone). Not only did they provide us with an upgraded room with a direct ocean view (superb room), but they discounted the rate, which was already a really good mobile rate! Plus, they threw in a bottle of wine. Icing on the cake was the hotel desk clerk, who was so incredibly sweet and accommodating, from start to finish. Beautiful grounds, too!
We will book with them again, for sure!!!
