Positives:
Staff was very friendly and professional upon check in. I was using crutches due to a recent injury. The maintenance guy saw me struggling to carry my coat bag so he came up and offered his help and carried it to my room. Really nice guy. The breakfast was great. they had fresh biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, waffles, fresh fruit and cereals. The coffee was also excellent. I also like the location, only a block away from the fwy.
Negatives:
The smoke alarm in my room was blinking a bright light every few seconds. I was tired so was able to close my eyes and ignore it, but I could see it being a nuisance to someone that is having trouble sleeping. Also chair in my room was very worn out.

Positives:
The room (King Room with 2 king beds) was very large and comfortable. It was also facing the back side of the hotel, so the surroundings were quiet. There was traffic audible from Hwy 99 behind the hotel, but not loud enough to be a nuisance. Located next to several strip malls with lots of shops and restaurants, which was convenient. Also, within 10 minute drive of downtown Chico, which is very pleasant.
Negatives:
There were big trucks and rigs parked in front, which blocked some of the parking space. Some people were disposing their trash at the back entrance of the hotel, which wasn't nice. The breakfast was passable, but could be better with more choices.

Upon arrival I was treated like an annoyance to be dispatched as soon as possible by a person who clearly did not want to be there... Charged 25 dollars for arriving 1hr early... checking my bank account when I got the room revealed a 150.00 charge to my card that was not explained and tied up my card for the duration of my stay.. some sort of deposit they said upon checking out...
