Parking fee was ridiculous. 24.00 a day. For what? The security NOT walkiny around? The lady at the front desk who checked us in said it was 24.00 for parking but does not specify per night! And we had to go on their lame app to pay for the parking! Like they could not even do that for the guest! Especially with all the construction going on and having to reroute different ways in the hotel.

Just contruction was going in by the pool! and sent me to 1 room that smelled like overwhelming cleaning supplies on carpet! so had to change the room and the other room had same smell but not as bad!

Positives:
Pleasant property not far from John Wayne airport. Less than a mile from Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve--great for a walk. Comfortable bed. Complementary shuttle to places within 3 miles of hotel.
Negatives:
Pool was closed. Breakfast not included. Hotel over air-conditioned (it was in the 50s outside). I asked for (and promptly received) another blanket. Fair amount of airplane noise although wasn't too bothersome. Fairly expensive.

Positives:
The room was beautiful and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. I had a late lunch at the restaurant. Service was good and the food was great.
Negatives:
At the price of the room, it should have included continental breakfast. The floor was some sort of plastic or fake plank flooring that were loose and creaked when you walked on it. Disturbing; particularly when one of two occupants would use the bathroom at night.
