We have stayed at the Cupertino Hotel off and on for quite a number of years as the location is convenient. The room was clean and comfortable.
Negatives:
All the public areas of the hotel, including the odd atrium designed with multiple steps to get anywhere all seem quite rundown and have been in increasingly bad condition over the last several stays. The fountain in the atrium is quite noisy, even in your room. The main elevator was out of order and there has been fencing inside the lobby as though work is being done, but I remember seeing this several years ago.

Good location and big rooms. Decent price for the comfort. But, not the same as before.
Negatives:
The breakfast was basically non existent. There were 2 croissants and a handful of slices of bread, some fruit, an handful of boxes of corn flakes, and boiled eggs. I’ve stayed at the hotel before and they had an excellent hot breakfast. Please Include an actual breakfast. I paid for it and could have gotten a better breakfast from Starbucks for the same price. If breakfast is advertised, it should be an actual breakfast. This didn’t even qualify as a continental breakfast.

Very dirty, was no cleaning for 3 days in a row. I asked to change room because shower didn’t work. Mold everywhere.
During the last day they tried to clean the room when I was inside. When I told that I don’t need cleaning because I am leaving today, they ignored it and went inside while I was in the bathroom.
Almost no breakfast. Bakery and melon pieces - that’s all.
Also very expensive.
