Thoughtfully upgraded physical plant but even an upgraded Roadway Inn is still a Roadway Inn. Loved the dog park - hadnt brought mine but nice to know it was there.

Gracious reception and very accommodating housekeeping.
Positives:
Did not have breakfast, no hot water for tea, only caffeinated coffee. Liked the fenced in area to potty the dog.

For $130 pus $100 deposit (refundable) and $30 per night per dog I expected the A/C to work, it didn't, the stairs to the second level above the office were jerry-built, not reasonably lighted at night, was surprised that they passed Code, if they were even inspected. Happy to have a hot shower on Saturday morning, disappointed NOT to have a hot shower on Sunday morning, cold water only.

At check in a $100 deposit was asked for? First time anyone has asked for that, it was since refunded. The front desk person was to the point only. There was a family with kids and a dog in the room above us, they made quite a bit of nosie

I had a handicapped person with me. We needed a bottom floor room. They had one but would not honor the rate I was quoted through booking.com. The attendant did agree not to charge me for the booking.

The place was clean and they had a nice spot to take your dog out to go potty. they provided the poop bags for the dogs. the bed was nice considering it was our normal bed. it was close to the attractions we wanted to see.

The door to get into our sleeping area was hard to open. The office closed at a certain time so it was hard to get help after hours and in the morning.
