The staff was clearly disenchanted but tried to be friendly, though was certainly less accommodating than other places given the circumstances. This venue was selected as it's within walking distance of the hospital and while we were there our relative was dying and we had to leave in a hurry to be with them. The staff was unwilling to waive our stay fees. We were frankly grateful to leave given the conditions of the hotel and room.
Negatives:
The condition was deplorable -- the place was overscented to cover up some other smell, and everything was dingy and scuffed up. There was food or debris residue streaking down the kitchen walls. It was really something else.

The front desk has two ladies who where very difficult to work with. A young gentleman had very good customer service. I changed hotels based on the negative experience with the other two front desk associates

The front office staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
The mechanical maintenance in the room needed attention. The bathroom fan was very loud at times and not consistent. I believe it needs some attention. Also, the refrigerator had a noisy fan. The loudness caused by the fans from the refrigerator and the bathroom fan made for a noisy room.
