Everything was fine. There is a lovely uncle who always takes good care of me. Help me change rooms. I care about me every day. There are also some lovely little sisters, and the reception at the door is very good. But there was a man who didn't know which department he was from. I wanted to change rooms before, but he didn't agree either. I said the room was cold, but he said to fix the air conditioner for me. On the last day, the lovely uncle promised me that I could stay in my room until 18:00, but the next day he was not there and he didn't hand it over. At 11:00 at noon, there was another phone call and another knock on the door to kick us out. If you can't keep it for me until 18:00 to check out. You could have told us earlier, not me. Then we'll pay early and book one more day. After I confirmed it again and again, the uncle said yes. I was relieved to stay in my room. I don't know if I can't express it clearly, or for some reason. This made me feel so disappointed when the hotel was so good.

A beautiful Spanish style building with roof terrace. Spacious room, very clean.
Good cleaning! We get to choose how often we'd like the room cleaned.
Location is great. We are here to move our daughter to UCLA. The hotel is perfectly close to the school and the stores such as Target and Trader Joe's. Many restaurants in walking distance.
Extremely friendly staff. They greet warmly every time we pass the reception. They carry up my Amazon packages to my room.
Air-con is set to perfect temperature. Water pressure on fifth-floor very good. Functional pantry with dishwasher and microwave oven.
WIFI is very strong in the room.
Note: not all rooms equipped with a washer, check before booking if that's important for your stay. I'd give a 10 instead of 9 if there were a washer in our room. But the staff let me borrow washer in a vacant apartment which is very kind.

Convenient location, super super friendly staff. The hotel was very nice and the room was very comfortable. Very close to UCLA, we were sending our kids to college and the hotel was right in the Westwood neighborhood, so it was easy to purchase all kinds of dorm supplies for our kids. Will stay again next time we go to LA.

I booked two rooms that should have been the same, one for my adult son and one for my husband and me. Upon checkin, we were told that my husband & I got an upgrade. We went to my son's room first, a magnificent, spacious room right off the plaza with a king-size bed. We then went to the "upgrade," which appeared to be smaller in square footage and had only a queen-sized bed--so, they gave one person a king-size bed and two people a queen-size bed. It had a little balcony, but the doors to it would not latch. We returned to the front desk where the man there told us they were sold out so probably couldn't give us a different room. His colleague, however, said she had another room available with a king-size bed. Yes, it did, but it was the smallest of the three rooms we saw, not off the patio but down a hallway, and the view from the room was the side of another building and two dumpsters. The sink was also not cleaned properly. I was not happy at all with either the "upgrade" or the final room. Considering we paid the same amount for both rooms, we really got the shaft on the room for my husband and me.
