Beautiful hotel, lovely terrace and breakfast cafe that served delicious food. Staff were super friendly and always happy to help. Rooms refreshed and new water bottles provided each day, super comfy beds and robes in the room. Couldnt fault it I had a great stay :)

Positives:
Park James has an elegant look and generally nicely designed rooms. However, numerous small service failures and inconsistencies are an issue.
Negatives:
First, their website inaccurately claims there are in-room tablets for guests to control various settings. There was no tablet in my room. Second, I wanted to order room service during my stay. I had received an email claiming they had an app that would allow me to do that. Clicking the download link, however, brought up a business-facing site that sells tech solutions to companies. I then turned on the TV to see if there was additional information there. The (one and only) static screen informed me of another app that I could download. That app was also useless since it did not seem to be for guests (it required a username and login). Park James' own website mentions yet another app called KEYPR that guests can use. This was the worst information of all since such an app simply didn't exist on the app store. So, despite all their promises of technology-enabled services, Park James simply didn't deliver.
