Stayed just one night en route to San Francisco. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Easy to get to aquarium and whale watching trips booked, and hotels looked after our bags happily. Easy to find, easy to park, nothing else needed

Ricardo the front desk clerk was the only positive thing about this stay. He was friendly and had great customer service skills.
Negatives:
Hotel was dirty with bugs. Upon check in, we were told by the manager that there were many upgrades and rennovations. There were bugs and appliances were not working. Maintenance was called many times and we eventually had to be switched to a different room. Hotel stay was supposed to be for two nights, but we left early and move to a better hotel. Under the circumstances, hotel agreed to not charge for the second night after we contacted booking.com to complain. Hotel staff was accommodating except for the manager. I dont recommend staying here ever!

Parking in front of your room impossible since people did not respect the spaces that were obviously directly in front of the first floor rooms that had those parking spaces (for elderly and disabled that were not severely handicapped).
