Positives:
The room was clean.
The pool and the spa were great. Very comfortable temperature and very clean.
Negatives:
Bathroom door wasn't closing properly and there was no privacy lock. Also looked like vanity was replaced with new more modern but baseboards were not added in that area. Not a big deal just an observation.
Beds are squeeking and it was waking me up every time.

Positives:
Two restaurant options within walking distance, and downtown Pacific Grove is a short drive away. You can also walk to the beach to catch the sunset. The pool was warm, the hot tub was clean, and the staff were great.
Negatives:
Takeaway breakfast was a nice thought but not the healthy fuel needed to start the day.

Enjoyed pacific grove
Positives:
Rooms were comfortable albeit requiring maintenance. Good location close to the point. Staff were lovely and breakfast on the go was great.
Negatives:
Property needs some good maintenance. Gardens had weeds, paths covered in debris, windows and glass doors dirty, walls in rooms battered, fireplace broken. Expected more given the price paid.

It was convenient and in a nice pretty area.
Negatives:
It’s next to a graveyard which is not ideal. Bathroom had a lot of water damage, probably because the shower door did not have a stopper or seal. Our toilette also clogged and no one was available to fix it. Front desk gave us a plunger and let us figure it out. As someone who has worked as a front desk agent at a hotel, not having a maintenance person on sight is not an excuse to help your guests.

The location was good, with easy walking to Asilomar beach.
Negatives:
We booked a delux king room. It consisted of a room with a king bed, poor lighting, and a view of the street. A second room, much larger, seems to be a meeting room, with a long table with six chairs, and furniture picked up from a flea market. Lighting is poor.
Check in time is 4PM. We arrived a bit after that and stood in line for 20+ minutes, while the clerk told each party that the water was reversed hot and cold, or that hot water is very slow to arrive.
Breakfast was included for us, which required a walk across the street to get the “chef prepared breakfast”. That had a somewhat standard menu of eggs and meats, served on paper plates. The hostess was pretty cold.

Well, the first thing we saw was the gutters and they were full, right at our door entrance and a bird flew out of a nest and startled us.
Carpet would have been a nicer touch.
No place to sit in the sun on the lodge property.
