Negatives: It’s next to a graveyard which is not ideal. Bathroom had a lot of water damage, probably because the shower door did not have a stopper or seal. Our toilette also clogged and no one was available to fix it. Front desk gave us a plunger and let us figure it out. As someone who has worked as a front desk agent at a hotel, not having a maintenance person on sight is not an excuse to help your guests.

Negatives: We booked a delux king room. It consisted of a room with a king bed, poor lighting, and a view of the street. A second room, much larger, seems to be a meeting room, with a long table with six chairs, and furniture picked up from a flea market. Lighting is poor. Check in time is 4PM. We arrived a bit after that and stood in line for 20+ minutes, while the clerk told each party that the water was reversed hot and cold, or that hot water is very slow to arrive. Breakfast was included for us, which required a walk across the street to get the “chef prepared breakfast”. That had a somewhat standard menu of eggs and meats, served on paper plates. The hostess was pretty cold.

Negatives: Well, the first thing we saw was the gutters and they were full, right at our door entrance and a bird flew out of a nest and startled us. Carpet would have been a nicer touch. No place to sit in the sun on the lodge property.

Negatives: We were in an end room and while it was quiet, there wasn't much of a view, but that was fine, because the fireplace in the room, provided ambiance. The set up of the chairs and coffee table could have been better - but it was not an issue.

Negatives: Sliding glass door was unlocked and the lock wasn’t secure but we got it to work. Needs to be replaced
