Noisy people at night, " party" people, drunk or drugged who cannot understand why they should not make noise at 3 and 4 am. The property will lose a lot if they go down the " party" hotel avenue. Certainly, not for families!

This hotel is PURE LUXURY.

Super fun, Lots of character!
Positives:
I loved the aesthetic of the entire property - beautifully decorated rooms, courtyard, pool, and lounging areas. I think I discovered a new part of myself while staying!
Negatives:
The free wifi was spotty and I had to hack the tv to use my devices (sorry, not sorry). Could be better by just allowing customers to connect via Bluetooth screen sharing; I had work to do during my stay that feels cramped on a laptop screen.

Really nice staff at reception and pool bar, a lot of space for parking your car, big rooms. Ralph's supermarket is right next door, bus stop in front of the door, cool pool bar with nice drinks and great music during the day at the pool.
Gym is also available, clean rooms

There was nothing positive other than the decor but it was dated.
Negatives:
Rooms were musky and very dirty. Food was below average. This is a party hotel and not for kids and the pool was more like a Las Vegas day club you had to rent space to be near the pool. Bar closed at 530pm during week. Staff seemed to be grumpy.

Positives:
We have been here many times and love the whole vibe of this hotel . Colorful, cheerful and fun exterior. 100% instagram hotel! The pool is warm with good music playing (occasional explicit songs so beware with little kids). There are games (oversized chess, jenga etc) and hammocks in back. El Jefe makes a great breakfast sandwich and delicious iced coffee (try their cold brew!). Dog friendly also. The rooms are very basic, more motel style but we come to Palm Springs for the pool and surroundings more than a 5star room. I will say that the prices are a little high considering how bare and basic the rooms are.
Negatives:
Unfortunately we had a terrible second night due to the thin ceilings in our room. We were on a lower floor room which was a mistake as you could hear every step above. This particular night some guests were making so much noise until 2am we couldn’t sleep and called front desk twice to get security. I did email the hotel about this and they went above and beyond to fix it monetarily which was exceptional customer service. My husband and i did only get a few hours sleep however. I would suggest NOT staying on ground floor if you need sleep.
