Amazing place to take kids...

The pool was great. Our two year old loves the lazy river and pools. We also had one afternoon without our toddler and went to the spa. It was great and we spent the afternoon at that pool which had almost no one there!
Negatives:
The pools were VERY busy. A lot of kids and they weren’t always being watched by parents. We also requested a wine opener twice and never got one which was annoying. Also there were issues with the resort systems and we couldn’t get an additional key so we had to really plan our days and key exchange when we wanted to do separate things.

The location, the restaurant and food , and especially the restaurant staff were excellent the waiters and bussing were very nice and friendly

The room smelled very heavily of cleaning detergent on check in like they had just cleaned carpets with chemicals , not kidding, way above usual.
The room was very dated and needs an upgrade
The front desk had a hard time checking us in and there were no smiles and they told us nothing about the amenities like tennis, spa resort facilities INCLUDING THE FREE SHUTTLE TO OUR TENNIS EVENT which would have saved us a lot of trouble. Other than the restaurant and restaurant staff,I felt like i was staying at the holiday inn express for 800$/night without the free breakfast.
