It was close to the beaches. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean.

The pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable, aside from that everything else was excellent.

The room was greatlots of room and very comfortable. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was nice, lots of options.

It was loud. The shower from the room next door was loud enough to wake me. The people in the room above me sounded like they were stomping around starting at 4 AM. It's a non-smoking hotel, but the smell of weed was abundant. The location is odd.
Positives:
Very quiet (we did face the ocean rather than the interstate), a typical room, but very comfortable, clean and "kept-up". Easy to get to and from I-5 by car during non-rush hours.
Negatives:
Outside windows were a bit dirty, wi-fi was not very strong and it was difficult to exit the parking lot and go in any direction desired during rush hours. But these are minor complaints and the latter with easy enough workarounds.

Hotel is currently being renovated, so the hallways were all torn up. Not an appealing look! Room renovations were nice, but seemed only half finished in some parts. New stuff and old stuff mixed togetherlike a newly tiled floor, but old shower. Weird.

Room was a little shabby. There were dings on the walls where the paint was chipped. The cabinet with the fridge had many dings and scratches on it. There was a rip in the shower curtain. The shower head was crusty and discolored from mineral deposits.

Looks like it is currently being renovated with inside desperately needing new paint, doors having tape with room numbers hand written on it. Location is sketchy seeing homeless people outside and right next to a cannibas shop.
