Historical hotel features were cool and the distance from airport wasnt terribly far. Housekeeping was excellent, breakfast was good but lacked value for cost and star rating.
Negatives:
room thermostat didnt run temps besides 62 or off (80+). We could not keep the windows open due to construction and protestors outside. Linens on the bed were torn. Neither telephone worked. Room service woke us early Sun am with another rooms order. 3/5.

We were pleased with everything. Renovations are going on but no noise. Windows in rooms are the only thing that need to be updated by being stripped, painted, and be able to open easily.

The stay would have ended on a high note if we were forced to pay the $60 mandatory valet fee. Would have been fine except for the fact that my vehical fender was completely scuffed and you cant see details in their drop off/pick up area because of how dark it is.

The lack of breakfast or pool. The $60 a day valet parking. Double charged for deposit and not got it back yet at $100 each.. construction scaffolding with workers covering every window.. homeless everywhere outside. Horrible for "luxury"
