Positives: Overall a very good hotel to stay in. I was upgraded on arrival to a queen room which was quiet and comfortable. The hotel is furnished in a rock-chic style and I particularly liked the front lounge and cafe bar area with its cool seating and fireplace. The staff were friendly and most of the time very helpful. Location is good if you want to stay downtown, it's very close to Union Square and Muni at Powell Street. Compared to other 3 or 4* hotels in SF the Zeppelin proved to be pretty good value for money. I would score the hotel at 8 1/2 if there was an option.

Negatives: Wifi had a habit of dropping or being logged out of at no notice. I realised eventually that it would knock you out every day at 11am but still a nuisance when travelling. It was great having a coffee bar in the lounge/reception but food choices were minimal; I just felt they could do so much more with this.

Negatives: A lot of fuss about payment, the room was overpriced for what it was, the location is (unfortunately and this is not their fault) a bit dangerous, the cleaners kept on coming in the room even though we told them not to when they knocked and in both cases we were undressed.
