Room attracted ants on the kitchen counter. Could not leave a cup or food out on the kitchen counter for more than a 1/2 hour before ants were all over. We didn’t get to tell anyone because we were there for long in the morning and would get back until late.

I was told I had to pay $16.50 per night for parking mandated by South SF. Child being pulled down the hall by a huge pitbull that barked all night. Their fee for incidental was $250. Overall, room nice, policies not nice. Will not be returning.

Nothing.This was the worst stay in life.We're going through difficult moments in life, and my husband had serious surgery at UCSF. The staff were unhelpful, unfriendly, and rude.

When my wife and I checked in the concierge or front desk lady had been sitting on the tables entertaining some friends. They were carrying on until they saw me. The lady had the face of I bothered her. No customer service skills what so ever, during our whole stay this lady and the guy working there seemed very stressed. And is having a hard time giving actual service people paid for. After a long days work my wife and I decided to head to bed. Only finding out that the bed is soiled moist! I requested the front desk after walking to the front, because they don’t answer the phones. I told them what my wife and I found. I was told to head back to the room and wait for someone… they finally came and the guy handed me new sheets and pillow cases. Mind you my wife and I worked all day and wanted to go to bed. I explained that’ the bed I soiled the guy continued to hand my the sheets and he said go ahead and change them. Disgusted from the soiled moist beds we pulled out the sofa bed and slept on that instead. We were checked in for 2 days. I had no choice but to make do what this hotel was giving. My son lives down the street and it was very convenient to be at the hotel.
When I asked the front desk if they could make my stay better, did not ask for reimbursement that’s not what I was after. He proceeded to say “ I will waive the parking fee” they never apologized for the situation or offered to make the room or put me into another room after the first day. Am not sure what is happening here. But am sure if you check you will find I have spent thousands of dollars and multiple nights on this location. The management is giving Sonesta a bad name. Please fix this. Customer service issue at this site. Especially the little Asian lady with glasses that glares and is very rude! She acts like she owns the place.
