TV wouldnt work for over 4 hrs; giant stain on end of bed seat; laughable early check in policy quoted 45 minutes up to 5 min b/f check in time (extra $50 charge) when no one was around and the parking lot was empty except for 10-15 cars); breakfast weak

The patio next to the pool was great.
Negatives:
The laundry facilities werent available. The doors slammed really hard after you opened them, so you would but neighbors hearing it. The property is pretty out of date.

It was clean and the staff was nice.
Positives:
The staff was friendly, the WiFi was free and easy to hook up too. The Bed was comfortable, the room actually very large and the location for going to an event at the convention center ideal. Easy to get to from the SJ Airport and adjacent to the 237 Hwy.
Negatives:
I really don't have much that I didn't like. The Breakfast could have had a few more items... but free is free, so you get waffles to make and some other stuff too. My only recommendations for the management is to fix the fan in the bathroom, it was loud and sounded like it was going to wake the dead.

This is a wonderful hotel. I have been staying here for over a decade for business trips. They always remember me (by name) when I return (even after a few years). Love the ethernet option (including a provided cable).

The bathroom floor was a little dirty in one area.
Negatives:
We arrived around 2:10 pm and was told if we wanted to check in early (prior to 3 pm) it would be $15. I have never heard of this before. Every hotel I've stayed at will check you in when the room if ready. Anyway, the front person at the desk said we could check us in at 2:30 without charge. So we sat in the front until 2:30 rolled around and checked in without charge.
