location. Proximity to the beach was great. The gentleman that was working the late shift kindly opened the gym for me before hours so I could work out before work. Thank you

The hotel is kind of old. I was there for work, when I got back to my hotel, there was no designated workspace. The complimentary breakfast did not start until 7:00 am, I start work at 7:00 am, so I had to grab breakfast somewhere else. but nice otherwise

The website said pets are allowed but when we arrived with our cats they said dogs only. The website should specify "dogs only" so that there are no misunderstandings.

Nobody likes a place that is under construction. But it did not hinder our stay.
When it is done, it will be Awesome.

Positives:
Great view! Bed was comfortable. For a hotel that’s been around since 1910 is in good condition. Again it’s 114 years old. You’ll see cracks in the wall, but the rooms are clean with vintage furniture. Our room was 603 and had a great view of the beach. The freeway was close by but the sound wasn’t bad. Windows muted the sounds and when outside the private rooftop patio. Wish the room had more chairs and couldn’t find the hair dryer.
Negatives:
A bit dark room needs more lighting. AC worked but was a bit noisy. Dog friendly, but $100 fee was a bit high.
