35 minutes to check- in? The check in process at this hotel is beyond ridiculous. There is no human present at the checkin desk. Instead there is a disembodied “voice” talking to you as you enter and you realize there is somebody in a computer screen to your left trying to check you in. This person turns out to be a fellow in Bogota, Colombia!?! Unfortunately, but not unsurprisingly, a technical glitch prevented the Colombian from checking us in. He phoned the ONLY staff member on site (ie in the hotel) who delayed our checkin by 35 minutes because he was upstairs on the 3rd floor “fixing a guest’s television”. It begs the question-if there was an emergency/fire or ? WHO would be there to escort all the guests to safety??? This is NOT the fault of the nice agent in Colombia, South America nor the onsite TV repairer, this is 100% CORPORATE Days Inn POLICY where clients are treated as second class citizens and corporate profits are EVERYTHING

We did not know they did not have an elevator and were given a second floor room. We were traveling to have knee surgery in Portland. This was not listed or noted in the booking. Plus I am not even sure it is legal to not offer services to handicapped people.

The computer kiosk screen I had to talk to. The front lobby was a sauna it was so hot. If you had an actual person working the desk they would realize that. Stop taking jobs away from people in your own country. I will never stay at one of your hotels because of this reason.

For a Days Inn it actually was really nice. I wouldn’t mind staying here again. We needed somewhere to stay for the night. We had my 4 month old with us and my partner and I were not upset with the rooms at all. The pictures show carpet but they have upgraded since and it’s floors now in the room.

Honestly I have no big complaints besides I wish the elevator worked.
