Positives:
We reserved the king suite and it left leg room to spare even with the pull out sofa being left out. Very comfortable bed and bigger room fridge.
The location was great. At this point in our trip we were just hanging out in Salida and this was about a 2 to 3 min car ride from the historic downtown.
Wifi was great. Minimal lags for my sons on line gaming.
Negatives:
The front desk person warned us that the drains drained slow in the town and this property was oldet and suffered a bit more than the newer properties. Minor complaint for sure (but it makes you give one

Two day stay but my key didnt work after the first day which prevented access to the building from an auxiliary entrance that was convenient for my room in a long building.

Very clean, comfortable bed and nice dark and quiet room.
Negatives:
Couldnt shower because the water never got warm!! Our 1st room had broken locks on the door so we asked to switch rooms. That wasnt as big of an issue as the lack of hot water.

The breakfast was terrible and the breakfast room was dirty. There was no hot water on Sunday morning. I’m not really a fan of laminate floors in hotel rooms, as they are really cold. This was noted as a 4 star hotel, but it is really a 2 star hotel.

Positives:
Good size room. Great location and value.
Negatives:
Cleanliness of bathroom. There were hairs in the shower/tub before we even used it. Also, I didn’t realize this hotel accepts pets until we heard barking on both nights that we stayed. We couldn’t get the temperature quite right in our room either.
