The hotel is in a great location. Pretty clean. Breakfast options were plentiful.
Negatives:
The price of parking is not right. I was charged $127.44 for parking for 2 days. There is a $100 deposit needed at check in. I was charged 4 times for the $100 deposit leading to a $400 hold on my card. Front desk said they didnt, bank said they did.
Positives:
Breakfast was the standard scrambled eggs, potatoes (varying types), and meat (bacon, ham, or sausage). There wasn't a lot of variety with these main dishes. Some days there were hard-boiled eggs in addition to scrambled eggs and pancakes or french toast. There were bananas but not a lot of other fruit. They have white/wheat bread, a small variety of bagels, and various danishes. The food staff were polite and friendly and kept the food areas clean. The room cleaning staff did an exceptional job keeping the room clean and providing fresh towels about every other day.
Negatives:
The room furniture such as couch and chairs are dated and a little worn. I can't speak for all rooms it's possible that the furniture condition varies room to room. The bathroom was separated into the toilet and shower behind a door but the vanity was open to the bedroom. This layout didn't provide a lot of privacy to change clothes in the toilet/shower room. Not real close to the metro about 15 minute walk but it's DC so plan on doing a LOT of walking anyhow.

Breakfast was good, not exceptional. We were there 5 days so.it was very repetitive... eggs were identical everyday. Fresh cut fruit would have been a nice addition. Bed was very comfortable and the room was nice for relaxing.
Negatives:
Our room faced the wall of a building that was not much more than 8 feet away so there was a lack of daylight and no ability to even judge the weather...a little claustrophobic. Construction at the front of the building and just down the access street made walking access difficult. I was using a cane following a recent fracture and it was awkward getting in and out od the property.

key card kept malfunctioning. Free fresh Coffee should be avail 24 hours not just made during breakfast. Not having a bar/ lounge, no pool for those super hot summer days after walking around all day in 102 degree faranheit. Have a seating area for smokers to sit.
