The location was great, the room was big, and the free breakfast was a good quality. It was right across the street from the Navy Yard metro, about two blocks from the Nationals baseball stadium and there were many options for restaurants nearby.
Negatives:
The pool area was small, pool deck was full of water, chairs were broken, and there were never enough tiny pool towels. The carpet in the room was ripped and there was not enough hand soap or toilet paper.

Staff members were courteous and friendly, going out of their way to be helpful. The king-size bed was very comfortable. Our room contained everything we needed for a 9-day stay, and the full kitchen helped us to economize on meal costs. The breakfast buffet had a variety of hot and cold foods, so our two picky eaters always found something that they liked. The pool was fun for the kids to play in. We felt at home here.

The kids found the sofa bed quite uncomfortable. During the busy week that we were here, the pool water become visibly murky.

The staff was outstanding. They worked out problems and treated us like family. Staying for five days, I felt like they knew me when I walked in and went out of the way to speak and converse. The location was excellent for getting around. The metro across the street allowed us quick travel to the Capital One Arena and all of the D.C. sites. The breakfast was also a good way to start the day. Having that meal in with the stay helped us to save some money and gave us a good start to the day.
Negatives:
The price for a pack of tylenol was excessive, but I had to buy it as I forgot to pack mine and had a tremendous headache.

Very clean with perfect location. Close to subway, Nationals Ballpark, and so much to do close by. Great restaurants within walking distance.
Negatives:
Valet parking only charges $57 overnight. Final bill was not as advertised.
